Sourdough 2.0, May 31, 11:00-1:30
A natural evolution of the beginner’s sourdough course where we will be taking a deeper dive into all things sourdough. Come ready to roll your sleeves up and get your hands in the dough! You will be making your own dough with inclusions (added ingredients) that contribute additional flavor, aroma, texture and seasonal flair to your breads. We will still cover many of the topics covered in the beginner course with a few new topics such as baking pan loaves, what to do with sourdough discard (recipes included), and much more, so come ready to learn! You will have the opportunity to develop and practice your sourdough skills in a laid-back and fun environment. By the end of the course, you will have the knowledge and skills to create a variety of your own beautiful and delicious sourdough breads at home that will really wow your friends and family. As always, we will taste multiple types of fresh-baked bread together, and you will leave the course with a complementary dehydrated sourdough starter, take-and-bake dough, and baking guide to continue your sourdough journey at home.
NOTE: You do not have to have taken the beginner’s sourdough course to take this one. All levels of bakers welcome, from new to experienced.
Hands-on and Demonstration
