Whether or not you have traveled to an island, you’ve got to admit the idea of it sounds pretty nice. Time slows down, days take on a more relaxed approach and the food sounds fresh and fabulous. Our recent experience with Bermuda fish chowder prompted us to build a date night around this delicious dish. Along with the chowder we will also prepare a Bermuda onion tart and a salad of fresh pineapple, jicama, quinoa, avocado and gorgonzola. Rum and butter caramelized bananas with coconut ice cream will complete our culinary tour of the island.
