Hand pies hold so much appeal for many reasons - they're easy to package individually to enjoy later, perfect for traveling (most can be enjoyed at room temperature with little mess!), and great for gifting to friends and family. We'll be making a variety of fillings - sweet and savory - in this fun, hands-on class, and you'll make a few hand pies to take home with you! I'll give some tips for freezing and re-heating, as well as my favorite recipes for several different types of doughs to use for the crust when you're making these at home (dough for class will be made ahead of time). The fillings that we'll make - spiced apple, vanilla bean-cream cheese, savory Tex-Mex beef, and herbed chicken & spinach.
