There is a wide variety of vegetarian dishes in India. Tonight, I will share some vegetarian recipes that are often enjoyed during religious holidays.

Basanti Pulao (fragrant rice cooked with nuts, raisins, and saffron)

Readymade Malaysian Paratha (paratha is a delicious flatbread). The dough is store-bought. The last bit of cooking this rich and flaky flatbread will be done in class.

Chana Dal (split Bengal gram): A delicacy among the wide variety of lentils in India.

Paneer Dalna (Dalna means a semi-thick curry). This is a cozy and ambrosial paneer dish.

Alu Dum (A delectable dish of potatoes)

Butternut Squash with coconut milk, potatoes, tomatoes, and chickpeas

Mango Ice Cream

Chef’s Table (you will sit around the island, the chef cooks and teaches little tricks of the trade while you taste and savor the food). Recipes will be provided.
