Wine in the New World , June 18, 6:30-8:30

$85.00

Much like the Roman spread of wine culture through Europe, everywhere Europeans settled they planted grapes. Within a century of Christopher Colombus’s journeys, vineyards were established everywhere from Tasmania and Australia to Chile, Uruguay, South Africa, and California. The study of Western Civilization takes on new meaning when understood through the gaze of wine. As we discuss the cultural history and continued significance of grapes in New World, we will sample six delicious wines. Each wine will be paired with a regional small plate.

The Seasoned Farmhouse will supply small bites with the wine tasting.

A week before class we will send you a link to purchase the wine tasting for your class from House Wine. Wine portion is between $20-$25
