It’s an arguable fact; certain meat cooked on the grill has more flavor and aroma. This is, in part, due to the Maillard Reaction and the science of creating a really delicious, browned surface. Through the ages, many cuisines have understood this and in this date night we will explore some techniques. We’ll prep and grill Argentinian beef with a chimichurri sauce, move over to the Middle-East and prepare kebabs with smoky tahini sauce, and prepare a pork dish with an Asian soy/sake basting sauce. We will pair each of these meats with appropriate sides and enjoy a lemon angel food cake with lemon curd for dessert!
